Lipstick on a pig?

Good lord, what a childish remark, a low-blow attempt of an insult. He gets away with these kinds of comments (remember his "cling to God and guns" speech?) and the criticism is low. This was a cheap shot at Gov. Palin with her "pitbull with lipstick" comment.

"You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. You can wrap up an old fish in a piece of paper and call it change. It's still going to stink after eight years. We've had enough"

Do you think his "old fish" comment is an ageist one against McCain? So now he hates women and the elderly. He can go on and on about how much he cares about "Women's Rights" and "Taking care of the poor/elderly/disabled/etc." but actions speak louder than words... and speeches echo for a lifetime.
