Good Riddance

Susan Sarandon will leave the country if McCain is president? Not a huge loss. No good commie, vile, disgusting, verminous, waste of space. Good riddance. How dare she turn her back and say such disrespectful things about the country that made her rich.

You ingrate. How do you have the conscience to do this? This country gave you a name, fame & fortune and this is how you repay it? Have you no decency or respect? Morals or self-esteem?

You disgraceful human being. You embarrassment to the USA. You despicable fool.

May you burn in hell.

College Stuff

I finally went and picked up my AAS degree from Renton Tech. It's kinda cool actually having the degree but it's just a technical degree so it's not as glamorous as a 4 year from WSU or Gonzaga... but it's still neat.

Memorial Day

When you are having your barbecue at the lake or campsite this weekend, you probably will not think about the meaning of Memorial Day. You wont be thinking about what our US military has sacrificed for your freedom.

But it's okay. That means our public servants are doing their jobs so well that you need not worry about your safety. But for the heck of it, thank someone in the military, a police officer, or a fire fighter. They worry about your safety so you don't have to.

Thank you Arley, Dave, Kyle, Jason, Shannon, Ric and Erik for your current service.

Thank you Dan B., Dan H., Warren, Vance, Doug, Sarah, Cindy, John, Dennis, Alice and Lloyd for your past service.

Thank you soldiers.
Thank you God.

When people say, "I support the troops but I don't support the war." It's like saying to your wife, "I love you but I don't like the way you cook/clean/raise the kids, etc." Give them your true support.

Never Forget.

The Enemy Within

I bought a book by Michael Savage called The Enemy Within. I am not even through chapter two and I am intrigued, entertained, disgusted, and horrified. The liberals really are destroying our country. There are too many examples from the first chapter alone so I wont quote Michael Savage but I'll quote a philosopher that he quoted as well.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of the nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear."

Obama for president? A murderer really IS less to fear...

Will the real Ted Kennedy please stand up

What an awful situation--to have a brain tumor and have 14 months to live.

On the other hand, what an awful man.

Michael Savage is being persecuted by the leftist, Marxist, Stalinist, liberal media for saying such things about the dying senator. Well here is the truth according to michaelsavage.com about what kind of garbage Kennedy put our country through:

"We cannot forget that he opened the borders as early as 1965. We cannot forget that he voted to destroy the flag and destroy traditional marriage. We cannot forget in spite of his illness, that he has voted for late-term abortion – i.e. infanticide. We can’t forget that…
  • He voted no on a constitutional ban on flag desecration.
  • He voted no on constitutional ban of same-sex marriage.
  • He voted yes on adding sexual orientation to definition of hate crimes.
  • He voted no on banning affirmative action hiring with federal funds.
  • He voted yes on allowing illegals to participate in Social Security."

I hope Obama gets what's coming to him while he's young-- not when he's already far past his prime.

Hillbilly mini play

SON: Hey Pa, what's two plus two?

PA: I don't know son. Why don't you go to that there school?

SON: I done burn down that school last week.

PA: Why'd you do that son?

SON: You done told me to get a hobby...

Some adults never "grow up"

No, I am not talking about my former friend (although she falls into the category). I am talking about the potential President of the United States of America. How juvenile is it for Mr. Obama to fuss about Mr. Bush's comments. Bush never said that Obama would appease terrorists; he merely stated that talking does not work with terrorists. He did not say it would never work with any foreign leaders-- just terrorists. You cannot reason with sociopaths.

And today he is whining about how the media is picking on his wife, twisting her words and manipulating sound-bites. No, she really did say, "for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country." There is no twisting and manipulating about that. If you don't want your spouse to get negative attention, keep them in the background-- like Hillary is doing with Bill.

Also, he is blaming Fox news, GOP, conservative commentators and John McCain for any losses in the primary. Passing the blame? No accountability? What a crybaby.
I'm telling on you! Teacher, they're picking on me! Wah!

He is very immature and I am disgusted and disappointed that the general population cannot see beyond his pretty face and hollow promises.

Equally disgusting, a couple weeks ago Tom Hanks endorsed Obama saying, "I want Barack Obama to be president of this country--a country that once said that people of his skin color were only three-fifths of a human being." Are you kidding me? What a puerile, juvenile, nonsensical reason for wanting a person to be president. He is so blinded by the pretty skin that he can understand the damage Obama will do to this country. Kiss your U.S. Constitution rights goodbye. Say goodbye to the sanctity of marriage. Pray while you can.

The end is nigh.

I just love my family

Sometimes I hear a person complain about their extended family. They have immature uncles, embarrassing aunts, smelly cousins, and obnoxious grandparents. Some people, in adulthood, even dread seeing their immediate family on holidays. But for me, I love my family so much it hurts to leave them.

Last Tuesday I got to meet some second-cousins on my father’s side. I met my great-uncle’s daughter Jodie and granddaughter Elisa who are from Maryland. A little awkward at first, as we were strangers to each other but by the end of the night I wanted to take them home with me. My brother, cousin, and now-not-a-stranger cousin Elisa sat at the “teen” table for dinner while the youngest and the oldest Babcock’s sat in the dining room. (Yes, I got stuck with the title of a teen…not like I am mature at age 23 so it didn’t bother me) It was so wonderful to joke with Elisa like we do with our Washington family and she even spoke of politics from our point of view.

After dinner we (the “teens”) played an odd game of Monopoly. This particular game was made in 1936 and has since lost a few items such as the game pieces and one property card. So we improvised. Douglas was the dagger, Christina the pistol, Elisa the candlestick and I the wrench. Yes, we raided the game of Clue. The adults thought it was hilarious and snapped several pictures of the game in progress. And, oh man, it was competitive. (sorry for your loss Christina) :)

It was a wonderful visit. Elisa and her mom are only in town for the week and it’s just not enough time. But I sure appreciate their visit. Families can be a pain, but they sure are a blessing.

And on a side note: I picked up my gun today! Yay!

I'm gonna be a mom!

That's right, I am soon going to be the proud parent of a 4 inch, 25 ounce Springfield XD 9mm handgun. (Did you think I meant something else??) After the two-week waiting period, I get to bring it home. Let me tell you, there is something exhilarating about exercising the 2nd amendment right.

Quick fact: Did you know that Barry Hussein Obama voted against legalizing the ownership of handguns in Chicago, Illinois not once but FOUR times? And yet it's in the Bill of Rights...another riddle.

I believe it was Glenn Beck or David Boze who made a good point about how the Liberal vermin abuse our Constitution: In Chicago and Washington D.C, there is an outright handgun ban. (and probably other cities but I don't know off the top of my head) That is a violation of our 2nd Amendment right. They think it's okay to ban guns in some places. No big deal right?

Now think of this: What if we chose a few places to ban our 1st Amendment right? You know, those folks in Berkley, CA are awful noisy, we ought to ban their right to free speech. Just in Berkley. Well, San Fransisco people are a just as noisy so let's ban free speech there too. You know what? Utah has too many Mormons so I think we should ban that religion too but just in Utah. And Fort Bragg, NC has just too many soldiers so I think people should be forced to open their homes to the soldiers. Just in North Carolina though. And Detroit's crime rate is through the roof so forget the right from unreasonable searches and seizures, let's just break down the doors to catch people in the act of committing crimes.

Hmm, do you think for one second that those scenarios would fly? Those are Amendments one, three and four that were violated. How dare Obama and the other Liberal scum change the rules of the 2nd Amendment. Our freedom of speech is protected with an iron lock (and a chain, a bodyguard, a dragon...) and yet they are allowed to slant the law of gun ownership to their liking.

So I flip the bird to you, liberal sleaze, as I walk into the store to pick up my gun. I spit in your eye as I plan to purchase more guns. Don't you dare try to take them away.

On another note about the first Amendment-- nowhere does it say "freedom of expression." What if a pedophile wants to "express" himself by molesting an 8 year-old boy? Can he say it's his 1st Amendment right to "freedom of expression?" You can piss in a jar, put a plastic Jesus in it and it's called "art" and "freedom of expression." I've got news for you people, nowhere does it say you have the right to express.

Amendment One
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Express--1. represent or make known in words, or by gestures, conduct, etc. 2. communicate 3. represent by symbols

Amendment Two
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

A militia is defined as a military force raised from the civil population and supplementing a regular army in emergency. So we are that supplemental army and we need to be prepared to be called into action against our enemies of foreign nations and that of our own.

Go thee forth and purchase guns.

Meddlesome, Passive-Agressive Seattleites

Story number one: Today I took the baby to the library for story time--as I do every Thursday. It's a ten block walk with a Starbucks along the way. We thoroughly enjoy it. Anyway, it was a little chilly this morning with a very light rain so of course I bundled her up in the stroller with fleece jacket, hat and a blanket to wrap around her legs. After arriving at the library, I shed her outer clothes and we head into the room along with 80 other adults and children.

After a few moments the lady next to me turns and comments how cute the baby is. But noticing her short-sleeves the lady says, "Is she cold? She looks cold. She might be cold. You should put a jacket on her." I Smile politely and tell her that she is okay but her hands are a little cold from being exposed most of the walk over here.

But the lady continues.

"You are wearing a sweatshirt and whenever you wear clothing like that, the babies need more. You should put a jacket on her. Look, the other kids all have jackets. They are dressed warm. She needs a jacket." At this point my smile evaporates and it is on the tip of my tongue to tell her that the stroller is right outside the door of the room and she is more than welcome to bring me the jacket.

A few more minutes pass and I grow increasingly aware of the woman's sidelong glances. Then the baby, in the midst of her excitement of the noisy singing group, lets out a little cough. That sets the woman off again. "See she is cold. She is coughing because she is cold and needs a jacket." I didn't even give her the time of day. She had so completely ruined my share of our Thursday morning outing. Luckily that was the last of her comments.

Story number two: My boss is a paint contractor. He is licensed and very good at what he does. Recently he has been sanding his own house in preparation to paint it as he will eventually sell it. But with the lead paint, he takes serious precautions to keep the sanded paint from being airborne. Body suits, gas masks, safety glasses, tarps on the ground, special lead paint sanders with attached vacuum, etc. But yesterday he got an anonymous letter in the mail of an article from August 2007 about a family who had a paint contractor who didn't take those precautions and her children ingested the lead paint and now have long-term affects such as behavior problems and learning disabilities. The contractor was sued and paid out $40,000 as his insurance would not cover it. This story has nothing to do with my boss. But at the end of the letter, the person writes a personal note about the pay out and insurance and ends with "just thought you should know." This person went out of their way to be anonymous but still knows my boss's name and address. Is this a threat to him as a painter or a warning to him as a home owner?

Yesterday Glenn Beck said that Seattle people are too weird for California. I agree.

Story three goes like this: It's another story involving my boss. Heading south on I-5, he took the exit toward highway 99/ NE 80th ST. The lady in front of him slowed down at the center of the fork between the two roads and didn't seem to know which way she was going. So my boss went around her to the left fork because he knew where he was going. The lady gets mad at this and follows him with a honk. He's heading down the main road to his house and the woman goes to great lengths to catch up to him by speeding up to be side by side and eventually trying to cut him off. Well, being the kind of guy he is, he is not going to let her play these games of "cut him off and slam on the brakes" so he speeds up as well. He turns on his street and so does the Subaru with the two ladies. He parks and they pull up next to him. One lady starts ranting about his driving, how dare he, didn't he know he could have killed someone? Does he know how many people he could have hit? They demand to know if this is his job and want to speak to his boss. He says, "I'm a paint contractor and this is my home. I am my own boss." One lady retorts, "Well now we know where you live." (is that a threat?)

Story four: I have also had someone in Seattle try to correct my driving. I merged without signaling but to be fair, the lane I was in serves as parking most of the day so when it is spotted with cars, you naturally merge to get around them. It's an implied turn signal and people don't always use their directional indicator when there is plenty of space to merge. (people, myself included, signal when there is limited space to merge) The lady gets so mad that she is honking and flashing her lights. I ignore her as I always ignore people when they are angry on the road. (I never understand why people get so mad when they are the victim of a tail-gaiter) Then she gets beside me, mouths the word "turn signal" and proceeds to try to cut me off. Luckily I was turning left anyway and she was headed straight so she did not succeed.

Why, why, WHY? What is with Seattle idiots?

Michael Savage says that liberalism is a disease so maybe their liberal-hippie minds have deformed. Is there a hopeful prognoses? Can they be cured?

Also, I want to let you know that I have started my Obamabot play and it will be posted shortly. I'll also try to post my Gorebot play first so you understand the joke. Stay tuned. :)

Riddle Me This

ready to hear the boldest lie you probably will ever hear? No really, this one is a doosy. The first line of a book called You Can Prevent Global Warming goes as follows: "For the first time since the dawn of human civilization, the earth's temperature is rising."

I am appalled and disgusted by such a lie. According to the movie The Great Global Warming Swindle (and real scientists) the earths temperature change is cyclical, meaning it has cycles of cooling and warming. For example, in the medieval days, they had a warming period which warmed places like Greenland (hence the name) and the water at the North Pole which was 20 feet higher then than it is today. Shortly thereafter, the earth went into a mini ice age. Also did you know that the earth's temperature rose significantly from the late 1800s until 1940? If people did indeed put so much greenhouse gases in the air to cause man-made global warming, then the industrial period that followed the war in the mid-1940s would had caused an even more significant warming. However, it cooled and dropped through 1970. In fact, people went through a global cooling scare. But then slowly the earth warmed and peaked in 1998. Since then, it has ever so slightly started to cool. Now scientist (well, journalists actually) predict it will cool or flatline until 2020.

Now riddle me this: Is it a cycle? Or have we really reversed Global Warming by "going green?"

If you buy into the author's lie wholeheartedly, humans weren't civilized until the 1970s when the temperature rose...again.

Oh but then it gets better. You may want to sit down for this. Did you read carefully what I just wrote a few sentences ago? Yes, according to the BBC news (May 1, 2008) the earth is predicted to flatline through 2020. The article states:

The key to the new prediction is the natural cycle of ocean temperatures called the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO), which is closely related to the warm currents that bring heat from the tropics to the shores of Europe. The cause of the oscillation is not well understood, but the cycle appears to come round about every 60 to 70 years. It may partly explain why temperatures rose in the early years of the last century before beginning to cool in the 1940s.

BUT...

"We've always known that the climate varies naturally from year to year and decade to decade," said Richard Wood from the UK's Hadley Centre, who reviewed the new research for Nature.

"We expect man-made global warming to be superimposed on those natural variations; and this kind of research is important to make sure we don't get distracted from the longer term changes that will happen in the climate (as a result of greenhouse gas emissions)."

Now they are saying that Global Cooling is a cycle but Global Warming has mans fingerprints all over it. Does anyone know the answer? Let's talk about some possible reasons why nature can make the earth warm. First of all, have you ever notice that big orangish/yellowish thing in the sky that produces heat? The sun's surface temperature is 5,778 Kelvin which is 9940.73 degrees Fahrenheit. we've established that it's hot but now let's talk about how big it is. The sun can fit 1.3 million earths inside of it.

Next, when water evaporates it lets off CO2. The oceans cover nearly three-fourths of the earth's surface. You do the math. You are smart, surely you can figure this one out.

Decaying matter lets off CO2. So your "going green" composts are actually filling the air with CO2.

Last but not least, humans let off CO2 every time we breathe out. Oh yeah, so do animals. so if you REALLY want to "go green" then you ought to eat more meat and consume ALL of it so there is none left to rot. But wait a minute, your excrement from eating said animals would put off CO2. your breathing right now is letting off CO2. Quick hold your breath! Shame yourself for living! Shame the cats and dogs! oh Al Gore, self-proclaimed prophet of the modern days, what should we do? Give us an answer! Let's give you more money to save us! we shall by our way out of guilt! Al Gore, what is your vision?

Solution: phase out the human race.

Just kidding. This after all is a riddle of a blog.
